Well cant complain about this weekend was on call for work but not rung once, .Saturday group of us sat down with pizza to watch 1st episode of season two Dr who ...Pizza from the best shop in town ..You know the one I mean !

Sunday lazy day with Laura coffee and breakfast at jazz at sandbanks .afternboon went to flicks to see "the inside man" great film .eve we finally saw second part fo film "before sunset" ..oh check out websites

Monday trip to Avesbury lots of singing theme to children of the stone... a great day we saw 229 motor bikes on the way home and shouted out the number as we passed very childish and great fun if a little dangerous for out driver (fee) who may not of been keeping her eye on the road (I do trust you completely Fee) evening with potato wedges courtesy of Tim and lazy lounge around watching Laura croft the film ..there you are bank holiday weekend !

Its the Easter break - remember last year !

Do you remember this time last year..... We were in Paris, if iv got my timing right! ..... Anyone unhappy with their photo being on please just say I will remove it! Oh why aren't we there now !!! somthing wrong... time goes so quickly

yoga and relax

Ok feeling lots better now :-) went last night to Yoga (Keith Grant ) and feel tons better ..Certainly needed to remove myself from life for an hour or so after the last few days.

keiths no longer training at the Goat and Tricycle, he now has a studio in his flat, which is fabulous and very relaxing, the room is smaller but the intimacy seems to make for a more personal session. (worryingly i dont think me and the other participants can cheat with Keith only having to keep an eye on three of us).

keith has also asked us to keep a yoga diary noting when we practise, so he can keep an eye on us out of school! its a good discipline as im so lazy away from the classes.

guess should have bendy picures of me on the blogg for your continued amusment but i dont have any sorry

£85 that wing mirror cost me ! and now iv broken my phone (dropped it!) is it insured ?... no! So £40 for the cheapest phone 02 do so i can keep in-touch with people ....did i save all my name and numbers to sim? no i saved tham to phone, so when i put my sim in new phone ..oh you get the point..its all gone wrong .... what and expensive day ! :-(

Short and sweet rant

Someone has bashed my car! Iv lost the drivers wing mirror and cant see down the right hand side without and exaggerated look over the shoulder ... I bet its those pesky mime artists! Should not of mentioned them!

woke up with headache, found car was broken and had to sit though a boring conference in Dorchester.. Isn't life pants sometimes !

but then again:

• I could live just about anywhere else in the world and have a worst time,
• In fact IM pretty lucky really ..I mean at least iv got a rewarding job
• And car,
• I can afford to feed myself
• If all goes wrong there is always the welfare state to keep me going!
• Iv got great friends,
• Iv had a great childhood, teenage years were quite eventful with fun memories
• I married a great girl ( although that didn't turn out so well we had some fantastic years and I do consider Mel one of my best friends)
• I live in a beautiful part of the world
• I have a spiritual belief and am not worried about death (although agonizing pain just before doesn't appeal)
• IM fit and healthy ...Don't mention the winter belly

.....oh perhaps today isn't so bad in the scheme of things

weekend jasper fford and the paris mime wars

Coffee and a good book are the secret to a relaxed Saturday morning for me! And Jasper fford "The eyre affair" has kept me going all weekend off and on.


Any book with a passages that includes, a mass demonstration of several hundred Raphaelites chanting Italian Renaissance slogans at Neo-surrealists who have barricaded themselves into a pub using soft watches, .....Covers all my entertainment needs !

Reminds me of Bowies description of the mime riots of 68 in Paris that caused all the problems, you remember the images of gangs of students, (white powder faced, black and white stripped tee shirts) charging the police in complete silence, just the unnerving swish of the flowers in their top hats.....Anyway enough of the past ....

..Sat pm kev ..more coffee more shopping . Evening with Tim and Caroline re-watching "minority report", I am blessed with fab friends! Always a pleasure.

Sunday morning on the sea front drinking coffee and eating bacon sandwiches with Laura..Very windswept and chilly but great view. Sunday pm did my DIY bit putting up shelves and hanging pictures for Christine in her new flat.
